Located in Orange County and the historic Hudson River Valley, Orange County Business Accelerator is part of a wonderful environment where entrepreneurs can live, work and play.

Transportation & Infrastructure: The Accelerator's offices are located in the New York International Plaza on the campus of Stewart International Airport, a regional transportation hub with a multiple of mass transportation options like buses and trains. The convenient location is also near Interstate 84 and the New York State Thruway (I-87), two of the state's busiest highways. The Accelerator provides FREE shuttle service to and from the Stewart terminal.

Housing: Orange County is the state's fastest growing county because of its scenic beauty, access to Manhattan, top-rated schools and a wide diversity of residential housing. There are even housing options located within walking distance of the Accelerator's offices -- The Grove at New Windsor, a townhouse community, and Homewood Suites by Hilton®, an extended stay hotel.

Proximity to Manhattan: Times Square. Broadway. Central Park. Yankee Stadium. Citi Field. Madison Square Garden. All of these world-class destinations, and more, are only 60 minutes away.

Retail & Restaurants: Orange County is home to numerous malls, plazas and restaurants, many of them within just miles of the Accelerator. The Newburgh Mall, Woodbury Common Premium Outlets, and Adams Fairacre Farms - just to name a few of the numerous clean and safe shopping and eating destinations in Orange County.

Recreation: The beautiful Hudson River and rolling mountains provide breathtaking opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts. Hiking, boating, skiing, kayaking and biking options are abundant, and the walking trails are unforgettable. Higher Education: Orange County is home to its own community college, as well as a 4-year private college, Mount Saint Mary College. Nestled near the Newburgh Waterfront, these well-established institutions provide first-class higher education, from associate's to master's degrees. Empire State College, an online State University of New York (SUNY) school, also has offices in Orange County.

History: Orange County is home to a variety of historic villages and military establishments dating back to the late 1700s. Hot spots include Washington's Headquarters in Newburgh, New Windsor Cantonment, and the Goshen Historic Track- one of the oldest running harness tracks in the country.
